KMB GLOBAL OUTREACH

SERDANG, 20 FEBRUARY 2023 - The College Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College has organized the KMB Global Outreach program. This program is a mobility program implemented in collaboration with 2 universities in Indonesia, namely Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta and Universitas Padjajaran, Bandung. This program was also attended by the principal of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, Prof. Associate Dr. Jasronita Jasni and principals from other residential colleges including Prof. Dr. Aminuddin bin Hassan, principal of Tun Dr. College. Ismail, Prof. Associate Dr. Mohd Mursyid bin Arshad, principal of Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College, and Dr. Mohd Firdaus bin Ismail, principal of College Fourteen. This KMB Global Outreach program was participated by 20 students of Universiti Putra Malaysia consisting of various faculties of study such as Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics, and several other faculties on 3 to 13 December 2022.
 
This program aims to provide a platform for University Putra Malaysia students to form social networks with students in overseas institutions to achieve a higher learning impact. This program is also expected to reduce the learning gap in the academic aspect and leadership of students at the international level from two countries through two different perspectives to achieve the main goal of the program. In addition, this program has also provided an opportunity for students to learn and exchange opinions about customs and culture through collaboration with two foreign institutions, namely Universitas Gadjah Mada and Universitas Padjajaran.
 
Principal of KMB College, Prof. Associate Dr. Jasronita Jasni said, the international collaboration gives students exposure between universities to learn aspects of culture, economics, education and medicine.

This program will make UPM students more open in giving opinions, have the opportunity to do various humanitarian activities and learn about culture and education in Indonesia ,” he said.

According to him, the understanding was in conjunction with the KMB Global Outreach mobility program to create a powerful network with students from Indonesia and share academic knowledge, volunteering, cultural activities and lifelong learning.

Thousands of thanks to the students and participants involved for the cooperation that has been given in making all the activities organized during these ten days a success. It is hoped that this KMB Global Outreach program will be able to achieve the goal of producing students who excel in terms of personality, academics and co-curricular activities. This can also indirectly produce competitive and quality graduates.
