UPM, October 6, 2022 - The Aedes: Search and Destroy program took place under the auspices of the Sports and Recreation Secretariat, College Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College session 2022/2023 in collaboration with the University Health Centre, UPM and Tan Sri Mustaffa College Management Babjee. This program was held to ensure that Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College is free from becoming a breeding ground for the dangerous Aedes mosquito. This program will also create a clean, safe and conducive college environment for KMB college residents. Next, the students will also be able to work together in cleaning the college environment as well as strengthen relationships among students.

The Aedes: Search and Destroy program was participated by 364 first year students of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College. Students can fulfil their responsibilities as college students by helping Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College to protect the college environment from disease outbreaks carried by Aedes mosquitoes. This program is expected to produce University Putra Malaysia students who are sensitive to the health conditions of their environment.

Many thanks and congratulations to the first year students of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College who always cooperated, as well as to all parties involved directly or indirectly in making this program a success. Hopefully this program will be of some benefit to the students and foster an attitude of concern for the environment in them.
