October 26, 2024 – The Secretariat of Alumni and Career Network along with the Secretariat of Sports and Recreation of the Student Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, Tenth College, and Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College organized the Alumni Touch Rugby Sports Match in conjunction with the Sirih Pulang ke Gagang@Homecoming XII 2024 Charity Dinner. This event was held at Field A, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and was attended by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Arifin Abdu, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Student and Alumni Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Chair of the UPM Alumni Relations Center, Dr. Mohd. Mokrish Md Ajat, Deputy Chair of the UPM Alumni Relations Center, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurul Hayah Khairuddin, Principal of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College.

Men's college category; Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee meets Kolej Sepuluh
The Alumni Touch Rugby Sports Match featured three categories: the men’s college category, the men's 44-and-under category, and the men's 45-and-over category. In the men’s college category, six teams competed; in the 44-and-under category, five alumni teams from UPM participated; and in the 45-and-over category, two alumni teams from UPM took part.

The matches commenced promptly at 9 a.m., starting with the men's college category, followed by the 44-and-under men’s category, and finally the 45-and-over men’s category. The closing ceremony took place at 2.15 p.m., with the awards presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Chair of the UPM Alumni Relations Center.

Shahruddin bin Mahadi (owner of Baraplas company) YBhg. Prof. Arifin bin Abdu (Deputy Vice Chancellor, Student Affairs and Alumni) and alumni representative of the residential college.
It is hoped that through participation in this program, UPM participants and students can further develop their talents and skills in rugby, build teamwork, discipline, and physical and mental resilience. Additionally, this program is expected to foster values of leadership and integrity and to strengthen social networks among UPM students and alumni.
