24 September 2024, SERDANG - Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee (KTMB) is pleased to receive a facility benchmarking visit from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) on 3 September 2024 as a benchmark to improve the quality of life of students and their student accommodation services there. The Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College (KTMB) warmly welcomes the courtesy call from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) to visit the residence blocks and student rooms at Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College to become a benchmark for public university student accommodation in Malaysia.
Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babee which has four building blocks consisting of three blocks of female students and one block of male students with a capacity of 217 units of silver houses, seven gold houses and three Platinum houses. The apartment concept at the Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee college attracted visitors from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) because the way to manage the student house is easier than the dorm concept of public university student housing blocks like most colleges student residential colleges in public universities in Malaysia.
During the visit, the students were on vacation for the final semester break for the 2023/2024 academic session. Inim makes it easy for staff to travel to visit areas including facilities and space facilities at the Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College for the convenience and use of student programs. The visitors also had a chance to visit the Golden House (student house that has been upgraded but no air conditioning facilities) as well as a visit to the Platinum House (student house that has been upgraded with air conditioning facilities in every room)
