The Secretariat of Volunteerism and Mobility, College Representative Council of Seventeenth College, University Putra Malaysia launched "Connect Beyond Homeland Mobility" (CBHM), an international virtual mobility programme that brought together 47 students from Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Italy, and France on 28 and 29 May 2022.

This programme seeks to help students form worldwide connections and friendships that will encourage them in their pursuit of lifelong learning. This is how the programme theme -"Connect and Learn 4 Life" created.

Throughout the two-day event, participants exchanged knowledge, intellectual, cultural, and volunteer experience. The universities’ collaboration in making this programme a success allows the institutions to be more visible, engage in diplomatic contacts, and reach out to a larger international audience.

During the forum held, "Research Projects Share and Guide by the Professionals", Associate Professor Dr. Ngatu Roger from Kagawa University, Japan shared his experience of watching the final year undergraduates attend the training workshops. Also in attendance were Dr. Nor Eliani Ezani (UPM), Assist. Prof. Dr. Dusanee Suwankhong (Thaksin University, Thailand), and Dr. Lara Tinacci (University of Pisa, Italy) are the other panellists.

The forum is one of the highlights of CBHM, which focuses on useful scholarly knowledge from a variety of perspectives. It was conducted based on one of the hearts of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by the United Nations of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4) which is Quality Education.

The organiser would like to express the greatest gratitude to all that support and assist the programme either directly or indirectly. Hopefully, this porgramme can be held again with appropriate improvement. May this programme will truly bring benefits, joy, teamwork, friendship, gain and the connections built will last till eternity.
