Achievement of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College Students in Cross Campus event for Kejohanan Sukan Kolej UPM (SUKPRA) 2024/2025 Session at Akademi Sukan UPM

Serdang, November 17, 2024 – 350 students from Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee (KTMB), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), participated in the annual cross-campus event organized by the Akademi Sukan UPM on 17^TH November 2024, at the Universiti Putra Malaysia Stadium. This event was held in conjunction with Kejohanan Sukan Kolej Universiti Putra Malaysia (SUKPRA) 2024/2025 session and involved all nine colleges at Universiti Putra Malaysia. The event was held to test the endurance and stamina of the participants while strengthening the values of sportsmanship and promoting a healthy competitive spirit among the students. The challenging course featured a 7.4-kilometer route for the men’s category and a 6.2-kilometer route for the women’s category.

KTMB takes great pride in the achievements of its students, who are not only participated with great enthusiasm but also managed to secure top spots in the competition. In the men’s individual category, Risheraam A/L Parameswaran stole the spotlight by his achievement as the Champion of the Men’s Individual Cross Campus Event, bringing honor to the college. Tan De Hui also performed remarkably, finishing in 10th place in the Men’s Individual Category. In the Women’s Individual Category, Li Ying achieved an outstanding accomplishment by securing third place.

These achievements are the evident to the hard work and dedication demonstrated during the preparation for the event. The college management expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the relentless efforts of all participants. They also hope that these accomplishments will inspire other students to strive for excellence and contribute to the college’s reputation. A heartfelt thank-you was extended to all students who participated and to the support team comprising staff and fellow students who were present to cheer on the participants throughout the event.

Overall, this cross-country event not only served as a test of physical endurance but also successfully strengthened bonds among students and instilled a strong sense of sportsmanship in the participants. It is hoped that these achievements will motivate KTMB students to aim for even greater success in the future.
