Serdang, 5 April 2026 – The EksploBiz programme successfully captured the attention of the Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee community by combining an entrepreneurial explorace concept with engaging sales activities, bringing the campus to life with the presence of hundreds of students.
Organised by the Entrepreneurship Secretariat, Majlis Perwakilan Kolej for the 2025/2026 session, the programme involved 35 participants and was supported by 47 organising committee members. Targeting more than 80 college students, the programme also attracted over 400 students who supported the sales vendors, while the closing ceremony was attended by more than 200 students.
EksploBiz featured an entrepreneurship-based explorace concept that challenged participants through various interactive checkpoints. Each task required participants to utilise communication skills, creativity, and quick decision-making abilities in simulated business situations. This approach not only provided practical experience but also helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the realities of the business world.
Interestingly, the sales booths operated by student entrepreneurs became the main attraction throughout the programme. The presence of hundreds of students crowding the booths reflected a strong interest in entrepreneurial activities among undergraduates. This environment also provided vendors with the opportunity to apply marketing strategies and engage directly with customers.
According to the Programme Director, Siti Usaimah binti Masduki, EksploBiz was designed as a platform to develop students’ soft skills and entrepreneurial abilities.
“This programme is not just an ordinary explorace, but a medium to spark creativity, nurture entrepreneurial talent, and build resilience among students,” she said.
Meanwhile, the Principal of Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee, Dr. Mohd Hafiz Mohd Zaid, described the programme as an initiative aligned with the aspiration to produce holistic graduates.
“This programme not only equips students with academic knowledge but also helps them understand the world of entrepreneurship through real-life experience,” he stated.
Overall, EksploBiz successfully achieved its objective of producing competitive, creative, and entrepreneurial-minded students. It is hoped that such programmes will continue in the future to strengthen the culture of entrepreneurship among university students.
