SERDANG, 21 Februari 2023 - The Green Fun and Sustainability Secretariat has organised the Let's Recycle Siri 1 Programme for Tan Sri Mustafa Babjee College students. This programme was implemented to encourage students to involve themselves in the practice of recycle on 1 and 2 December 2022 ago.

 

The 2-day programme took place at Wing 3, Block D, Tan Sri Mustafa Babjee College. On the first day, the programme started with Block A and Block B followed by Block C and Block D on the second day. Each student will bring items that they wish to recycle such as A4 paper, plastic bottles of various sizes and beverage cans. These items will be redeemed with points and merits according to the predetermined rate and quantity as stated in the programme poster. The programme aims not only to nurture the practice of recycling but also to inject a feeling of love for the environment among students. In addition, the students who become members of the committee in managing this programme can improve values such as communication skills and teamwork within themselves. Finally, the Let's Recycle programme will be continued with Second Series in the coming year with improvements.

Millions of thanks were expressed to all the students who were directly or indirectly involved in enlivening and celebrating this programme. It is hoped that this pure endeavour can preserve the natural surroundings while educating the youth especially the students on how to properly manage the solid waste with well manage.
