MAPUM was established through the 123rd Meeting of Deputy Vice Chancellors/Deputy Rectors of IPTA on 17 July 1993 responsible for empowering the role of Student Affairs, Accommodation and Student Services in line with current developments and challenges in higher education and supporting the aspirations of student affairs in line with the mission and the vision of the university.

Among the things that are an important aspect in the assessment of MAPUM is providing comfortable and conducive facilities for residential colleges in the university. The members of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College would like to congratulate and well done to the College Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College for being awarded the Silver Category Best Residential College Committee Award.

And congratulations and well done to Universiti Putra Malaysia for being awarded the Best Residential College Award in the Gold Category and the Round Cup at the MAPUM Talent Awards Ceremony (MABMA) 2022. Hopefully this forged success can be worked on to become a catalyst of enthusiasm for all university students so that Universiti Putra Malaysia can continue to progress to the peak of glory.
