28 November 2024, Serdang – Secretariat of Spirituality and Unity, College Representative Council, Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee (KTMB) for the 2024/2025 session, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organized the Moral Week Program themed "Bloom Within: A Self-care Journey" from 26 to 28 November 2024. The program, held at Dataran KTMB, successfully attracted an average daily attendance of around 250 participants, consisting of Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee students who actively listened to sharing sessions and participated in engaging activities prepared by the speakers.
This Moral Week Program, in collaboration with UPM’s Counseling Division and KTMB management, invited three speakers from UPM’s Counseling Division to highlight three main topics: Self-Personality, Self-Motivation, and Self-Care. Through lectures and interactive Q&A sessions, the program aimed to help students identify their potential, improve motivation, and maintain mental and physical well-being. Additionally, the program emphasized the importance of self-care to foster a balanced lifestyle that supports better academic performance and long-term mental health.

Students Respond to the Keirsey Test Presented by Guest Speaker, Mr. Redzuan, for the Self-Personality Slot
The program began with the arrival of students and the procession of honorary guests into Dataran KTMB, followed by the first slot titled Self-Motivation. In this session, Mr. Redzuan introduced the Keirsey Personality Test to help students identify their personalities, providing guidance on their strengths and weaknesses.
The second slot, titled Self-Motivation, featured Mr. Zaim, who shared his inspiring life experiences and offered tips on maintaining motivation throughout university life. This session also included two of his students, who shared motivational stories to encourage resilience and determination in life.
On the final day, the Self-Care slot with Ms. Kamariah focused on the importance of self-appreciation and emotional balance, including strategies to manage stress. The talks and activities throughout the program successfully raised students' awareness of the importance of self-care, emotional well-being, and fostering positive relationships with peers.

According to the Program Director, Ms. Merissa Johari, "This program is designed to help students understand their strengths and weaknesses better while supporting their mental and physical well-being. Through comprehensive activities, we hope participants can apply the knowledge gained in their daily lives.”

It is hoped that through the Moral Week Program, students can gain knowledge and guidance shared throughout the event as a foundation to strengthen their character, raise awareness of the importance of self-care and self-confidence, and navigate daily life challenges to achieve a balance between academic excellence and mental health. Despite the demands of academic life being a significant challenge, students are encouraged to continue practicing holistic self-care as an essential step toward a more productive and meaningful life.
