SERDANG, Februari 23 - Academic Secretariat, College Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, Session 2022/2023 organized the Public Speaking Workshop Voice of Influence Program. The program was held at Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College Square and was attended by Mr Othman bin Abdul Kareem. A total of 50 participants from different colleges participated in the program and were divided into 5 groups on December 11, 2022.

Public Speaking Workshop Programme: Voice of Influence is a programme implemented under the Academic Secretariat, College Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, Session 2022/2023. This programme is held to increase the confidence of University of Putra Malaysia students, especially Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College's students to be brave and talkative in giving speech or speak better. In addition, the program can guide the University of Putra Malaysia (UPM) students on how to present a project in the class by emphasizing the Student-Centered Learning (SCL). Creativity that is one of the aspects of student characteristics can also be nurtured through the program so that students can think critically and mature from different perspectives to deal with every problem in life. The program aims to improve public speaking skills by learning how to make effective presentations.  Students can also increase their self -confidence in public speaking and professional presentation of English.

The first session began with Mr Othman's talk that highlighted how to speak in an impact and effectively. Subsequently, the second session was conducted, which is in the Group Training (LDK) where 5 groups should discuss with each other members based on the topics provided and present the group's results on stage. The topics discussed are like “Most Graduate Students Suffer from Depression” and “How to Boost Confidence in Public Speaking”.

A miliions thanks to the participants and committee members involved in their cooperation in the success of the Public Speaking Workshop Voice of Influence program. Hopefully this program can have a positive impact on the participants and inspire their spirit to speak in front of the public with confidence.
