Putra Tuition 

SERDANG, 20 January - Starting 28 October 2022, the Secretariat of EntrepreneurshipCollege Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, session 2022/2023 has implemented the Putra Tuition B40 programme at Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College with the cooperation of several PIBG low schools and the management of the college. This programme is a continuous programme which is expected to end on 6 May 2022.

The programme will also run on every Friday and Saturday, and throughout the operation of the programme, the location has changed twice, it was also once located at Student Circle, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee college and now at Study Room, Blok A, Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee. Tuition to B40 lower school students in the vicinity of UPM at a cost as low as RM5 for each session to ease the burden of families around UPM. The programme also aims to help Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee students to earn money while nurturing their human talents. Thousands of thanks are extended to the students who have participated in the Putra Tuition B40 programme for being so committed by attending this programme. It is hoped that this programme can run more smoothly until the end with the presence of more low school students under the guidance of the Secretariat of EntrepreneurshipCollege Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, session 2022/2023, University Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College's Principal, Prof. Madya Dr. Jasronita Jasni said the programme was implemented for B40 lower school students to ease the burden of the B40 community by giving them the opportunity to send their children to tuition centres at a low cost.

"By doing so, it can ease the burden on parents to take children to tuition classes to help them understand the subjects more deeply.

"UPM can mentor Foster School around Serdang, Sri Kembangan and Bangi to help lower school students become more proficient in a subject," he said.

The tuition programme is run every Friday and Saturday at the study room, Block A, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College.

He said, the secretariat of the Putra Tuition club involves twelve students college to be the teachers and mentors in this programe to help parents who send their children here.
