SELANGOR, 7 August 2024 - The Green Cheer and Sustainability Secretariat has organised the Series 1 and 2 Recycling Programme for Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee college students from 21-22 December 2023 for Series 1 and 16-17 May 2024 for Series 2. This Program was implemented to further encourage students to engage in recycling practices.

This program was held for 2 days at the store next to the laundry Block D, Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee. The program began with the participation of Block A and Block B residents on the first day and was followed by Block C and Block D the next day. Each participant brought items they wanted to recycle such as plastic bottles of various sizes, paper, newspapers, aluminum cans, iron cans and compact discs (CDs). These items will be redeemed with merit points that have been set.

This Program aims not only to instill a love of the environment but also to educate themselves to be concerned with environmental cleanliness. In addition, students who become Committee members in the success of this program can improve values such as communication skills and teamwork in themselves. So far, the 1st series of the series has been very successful and successful.

A big thank you goes out to all the students who are directly or indirectly involved in this program. It is hoped that all these efforts can maintain environmental sustainability while educating young people, especially students, on how to handle solid waste properly.
