12 April 2026, Serdang – The Academic and Intellectual Development Secretariat, College Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College for the 2025/2026 session organized the Sciverse-BioX Mission program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This program aims to strengthen STEM knowledge with an emphasis on the field of biology, especially understanding the human body system through various exploration activities and interactive simulations to increase students' interest in life sciences. A total of 150 students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Puchong Utama 3 and 65 students from Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College participated in this program.
Among the activities carried out were a visit to the Anatomy Museum and group exploration activities, where students worked together to solve challenges at each checkpoint available. The checkpoints provided included Oxygen Flow, Heart Rate, Digestive System, Muscle, Neuron Message, Immune Defense and Body System. At each checkpoint, the students were given explanations by the facilitator regarding science concepts involving the human body system, then applied that knowledge to solve the challenges given
The program began at 8.30 am with a participant registration session in the foyer below the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM. At 9.00 am, a briefing session and group division were held to provide information regarding the tentative program, activity regulations, and the exploration journey to the participants. Next, the program continued with the Explorace BioX Mission activity which took place according to the checkpoints that had been provided.
At 2.00 pm, the program continued with a visit to the Anatomy Museum to provide exposure to the participants on the structure of the human body and the field of medical science. The closing ceremony began at 3.30 pm with speeches from the school and college, followed by a prize presentation session and a photo session.
According to the program director, Nor Iffah Atikah Binti Norjahan, "This initiative aims to foster early interest in careers in the field of science and help students see that science is not just theory, but is close to everyday life." This program not only succeeded in achieving its objectives but also left a positive impact on the participants and the audience.
