24 september 2024, SERDANG - Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee is preparing to accept new student registrations for the 2024/2025 academic session. On September 23, 2024 (Monday), the college management together with fellows and the College Representative Council, Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee session 2024/2025 held a simulation of new student registration at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. On the admission of new students this time, the registration of New Students for the 2024/2025 academic session is in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The simulation was held to give a real picture to the staff on the day of registration, especially to staff among MPK and officers who were first involved with the registration of new students of Universiti Putra Malaysia.
The simulation began with a briefing by the head of simulation, Senior Assistant Registrar, Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee - Puan Norlida Zamberi on the registration journey, the units involved, the list of staff, logistical requirements during the Student Registration Day and fees involving the procurement process regarding food and technical requirements such as tables and chairs. Also shared are diagrams of student movement maps and placement of officers according to check points. Some of the factors that must be taken into consideration for the actions of all officers during the registration day are, how to inform information to parents, families or heirs of new students, uniform clothing of officers, a description of the situation in case of emergency cases, as well as plan B in case of rainy weather situations. Registration of new students will be held in the Foyer, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, while the tents of parents, guardians, and heirs of students are in front of the faculty building near the food truck which will be provided for the convenience of food and beverage needs of visitors on the day of registration.

Upon completion of the briefing, all staff moved on foot to the foyer, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences to go through the process of simulating the registration of new students. The simulation process begins with a review process at the student check counter, the student's position while waiting and the situation at the registration counter. Also of concern during the simulation day is the position of the college registration counter because it involves the most staff and the security of the student room keys that will be in the foyer. Also take into account the rest room staff, prayer room parents, as well as the need to use the bathroom for visitors.


Next, the principal, officers, fellows and MPK involved move to the parking site which will be the site of the parents ' tent. Upon completion of the simulation, the officers began to move to the student's residence block to survey the new Student Room. The Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College is looking forward to The New Student Registration Process for the 2024/2025 session.
