SERDANG, 18 FEB 2023 – Under the Secretariat of the Chairman of Block and Welfare has organised The Great Project @ KMB Programme with the Green Ribbon Group. The Great Project @ KMB programme was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Seminar Room on 12 and 13 November 2022 (Saturday and Sunday), and was attended by YBrs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amini Amir bin Abdullah, Chairman of the Board of Principals of Residential Colleges, Universiti Putra Malaysia and YBrs. Prof. Madya Dr. Jasronita binti Jasni, Principal of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, University Putra Malaysia The Great Project @ KMB programme was participated by 36 students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences as well as the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

The program aims to provide an introduction to mental health, empathy training and advocacy for university students. There are 3 workshop sessions that highlight interesting topics such as "What is Mental Health vs Mental Illness", "A Conversation" as well as “Building a Campaign”. Also covering the programme on social media of Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee by the ICT Secretariat and Publication under the supervision of fellows involved to help promote and convey information directly to students.

Thousands of thanks to the students and volunteers who are involved on the cooperation that has been given in the success of all the activities organized over the past two days. Hopefully, the students present in this program will receive new information and input on mental health so that they can be applied and harnessed in everyday life. It is hoped that such programmes will foster high mental health care practices among the students of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, in particular and students of Universiti Putra Malaysia in general.
