UPM,October 6, 2022 - The "Vote 18: Are You Ready?" program took place organized by the Secretariat of the Block and Welfare Chairman, College Representative Council, Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College session 2022/2023. This program was held to empower Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College students' knowledge about the concept of elections in Malaysia and to understand their responsibilities as voters. This program will also give students exposure to the Malaysian election system as a whole which also involves a question and answer session at the end of the program. Next, the students will also be exposed to information and knowledge about how to vote and the role of election agencies.

In addition, this program was participated by 364 first year students of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College. Students can fulfil their responsibilities as Malaysians by voting. In addition, students can also learn the correct voting etiquette and prepare for the next election. This program is expected to produce University Putra Malaysia students who understand their rights as voters.

Many thanks and congratulations to the first year students of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College who always cooperated, as well as to all parties involved directly or indirectly in making this program a success. Hopefully this program will be of some benefit to the students and foster the spirit of patriotism in them.
