In conjunction with the celebration of the 50th Golden Jubilee of Universiti Putra Malaysia, the Sports and Recreation Secretariat of the Seventeenth College has responded to the call of the Vice Chancellor, Universiti Putra Malaysia, YBhg. Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan bin Sulaiman in further enlivening the celebration of the 50 Years of the Golden Jubilee of Universiti Putra Malaysia by organizing the 50 Years Golden Fun Ride UPM program. The program runs from April 1, 2000 to May 15, 2022 online through the strava application.

The purpose of this program is to further enliven the celebration of the 50th golden jubilee of UPM as well as cultivate the spirit of love for the university. Furthermore, participants can cultivate the spirit of a healthy and active lifestyle and productive and participants can cultivate the spirit of cooperation and strengthen friendship between group members. Participation in this program is open to all residents of Universiti Putra Malaysia (students and staff) including the general public as well as UPM alumni, and alumni of Kolej Tujuh Belas in particular.

The program has received the participation of 43 participants consisting of UPM students and staff as well as the outside community and there are also entries from UPM alumni. The program requires participants to cycle a distance of 50km (cumulative distance) from April 1 to April 15, 2022. Participants can cycle according to the time and location of their choice.
