Anugerah Tokoh Siswa is the best platform to encourage students who have demonstrated leadership excellence in line with Leap 1 of the Education Development Plan (Higher Education) 2015-2025. The Tokoh Siswa Award was first introduced on March 1, 2013 to give recognition to the role of individuals and student bodies who successfully utilize the space and opportunities provided by the university in producing students who successfully utilize the space and opportunities provided by the university in producing students who have high academic skills, excellent personality and superior personality characteristics at the national and international level.

The 2022 Tokoh Siswa Award ceremony organized by the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) which took place on Monday, saw as many as 20 awards being contested including the categories of leadership, volunteerism, entrepreneurship and culture including the main award which is the Minister of Higher Education Award. The ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, at the KPT Za'ba Hall. The 8th awarding ceremony recorded a total of 916 entries thus showing an increase in entries compared to previous years.

Congratulations to the finalists of the 2022 Tokoh Siswa Award Ceremony who are students from Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College. Despite not bringing home any wins, the management of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College is very proud and hopes to be a source of inspiration for other students to win more awards in the future. 

The Tokoh Siswa Award is a prestigious award to recognize the contributions and achievements of students whether at the local or international level.

It is in line with the intention of Leap 1 of the Malaysian Education Development Plan (Higher Education) (PPMP(PT)) 2015-2025 to produce competent and holistic graduates.
