In support of the Planetary Health and Sustainability agenda at Universiti Putra Malaysia, all university staff always encourage active lifestyle practices on campus. These practices not only benefit individual health, but also contribute to environmental sustainability efforts by reducing carbon footprint and energy consumption.
In this regard, the following are some simple practices that can be practiced in daily routines on campus:
- Walking from the parking lot to the office
- Doing light stretching at the desk every 30–60 minutes
- Using the stairs instead of the elevator in the office
- Cleaning up the space or workplace regularly
- Walking to the cafeteria
- Cleaning up and organizing files and books
