Serdang, 30 January - The programme Grow and Know: Bound To Society (Phase 1) organize by Sekretariat Akademik, Majlis Perwakilan Kolej, Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee session 2022/2023 with the cooperation of Persatuan Genetik Malaysia which has been accompanied by 30 students from Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College (KMB) on 29 December 2022 ago. This programme will also run for 3 phases and will run throughout the 2022/2023 session. So for students who have been released to join the Grow and Know: Bound To Society phase 1 can join 2 more programmes in the coming dates. 

The programme aims to encourage students to share knowledge about Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) to the community through knowledge transfer intervention programmes.

Among the activities that have been carried out is the GMO sharing session that has been delivered by Ts. Dr Azzreena Mohamad Azzeme, Honorary Secretary, Genetics Society of Malaysia to KMB students. Furthermore, an open question and answer session has also been made by Prof. Dr. Abd Rahman Milan, President of Persatuan Genetik Malaysia where KMB students have the opportunity to know and learn the topic of GMOs in more depth.

In addition, KMB's students have also conducted conversations in groups and produced posters based on the given topics to be presented to the residents of Kampung Tengah Gemencheh, Negeri Sembilan in March 2023.

Thousands of thanks are due to the participants and all parties involved in making this programme possible. Hopefully all students who participated in this programme can share the knowledge they have gained and contribute to the community in the future.
